Thinking about going to College?
The Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) program is designed for individuals with cognitive disabilities and learning challenges who require academic accommodations and modifications for success. This program provides students with opportunities to enhance their academic and vocational skills in courses and field placements. Integrated courses are modified to students’ specific academic abilities and strengths. Students are supported by Learning Facilitators who accompany students to class and provide additional academic support.
Grey Bruce Training and Development Committee is hosting 2 opportunities to learn more about the CICE program offered at Georgian College. Georgian College will be providing a video presentation with time for your questions. It is a great opportunity for students and parents to learn more about the options available after high school graduation.
The sessions will take place on May 23, 2018 at Community Living Walkerton and District (5 Peter St. Walkerton) from 6pm-7:30pm and on May 30, 2018 at Community Living Owen Sound and District (769 4th Ave E. Owen Sound) from 7pm – 8:30pm.
If you are interested in attending this sessions, please RSVP to Sheryl Marshall (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call 519-881-3713 ext. 129.
