Community Supports provide enhanced services to individuals and families. Through Community Supports, individuals and families can utilize a family support worker for advocacy and support to a family on behalf of individuals and their families, assistance in navigating the social services or medical systems.
We continue to foster working relationships with other agencies including Developmental Services Ontario, Bruce Grey Child and Family Services, Native Child and Welfare, Grey Bruce Health Services, the YMCA, Legal Aid, Community Care Access Centre, Regional Support Associates, the OPP, Community Mental Health Team, Ontario Works, Student Welfare, and the Ontario Disability Support Program and Bluewater District School Board. Active networking and committee involvement gives us an opportunity to share information, deal with common issues across the sector and provide a broader base for resources and services to more families and other agencies.
If there is any area that you need a voice added to yours, be sure to talk to us, we may be able to help.
