Supported Independent Living
At Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living, we want to help you live your best life. Our Supported Independent Living Program is all about acknowledging your unique needs, advocating for your individuality, and creating an environment where you can experience all the good things in life.
The Supported Independent Living program supports individuals who have been approved for service supports through the DSO in their own homes, apartments, or other living accommodations. This program is not funded to provide housing.
Community & Day Supports
Adults are supported to achieve personal goals related to activities of daily living and community participation. These supports provide a variety of options whereby adults can participate in planned activities that focus on community participation, life skills, volunteer and cooperative work, socialization and/or leisure.
Who can Access Our Supported Independent Living Program?
Access to supported independent living services starts with contacting the DSO. We recommend families contact the DSO to begin the assessment process at age 16.
The Phone number for DSO Southwest region is: 1 (855) 437-6797.
